About TuA Ayurveda
Why
TuA was born out of the desire to inspire people to see themselves and the world through a transformative lens, fostering a deep sense of acceptance and appreciation for their uniqueness, and ultimately leading to a more fulfilling and connected life.
How
We do this by supporting clients through their health issues and unique life circumstances, with an eye to increasing their confidence in their ability to improve their quality of life.
What
Ayurveda happens to be the perfect tool to reach these goals. This time-tested discipline embraces and celebrates the diversity of the human experience, and has the unique advantage of increasing clients’ sense of autonomy, compared to other clinical approaches. At TuA we aim to translate this ancient medical science into easy-to-understand, practical terms that can be used in every-day life.
Values
Security, responsibility and rigor
- I respect the boundaries of my practice, I am no physician, nor am I a psychologist or physiotherapist. Whenever needed, I will orient you towards other specialists.
- I guarantee a secure practice environment and strictly follow the French legal framework for the practice of Ayurveda.
- I strive to rely on the digital and analog solutions that can best protect your personal data.
Diversity
- TuA embraces and celebrates diversity, of sex, ethnicity, identity and culture, and strongly encourages clients to rediscover and own their distinctiveness.
- TuA’s vision of Ayurveda is clinical and universal, as opposed to faith-based or elitist. Clients will be offered suggestions adapted to their situation, lifestyle, spiritual practices, etc.
- No discrimination will be tolerated on TuA’s premises.
Reliability
- The clinic’s calendar remains unchanged for the entire year. In case I need to cancel an appointment due to injury/illness, clients will be notified as soon as possible.
- Consultations and therapy sessions start and finish on time. I will be there to welcome you 10 minutes before the start of the appointment for in person sessions.
Autonomy
- The aim of the practice is that clients gain in autonomy with regards to their health and well-being. I will take every opportunity during our sessions to enable this.
- Clients are encouraged to research the ideas suggested and make them their own.
Solidarity
- I strive to find a balance between quality services at just prices, and services that remain accessible to as many people as possible.
- I remunerate myself according to the minimum national salary in France (1 426,30 € in 2024).
- Any additional financial gain of TuA is reinvested into service improvement, and into free-access events and materials for TuA’s online and local communities.
Humility and simplicity
- I am and will always be a learner, and will keep learning from my teachers as well as my clients.
- I remain open to your suggestions and feedback.
Meet your practitioner
I am a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner and Herbalist specialising in nervous system issues.
My own personal journey in healing from severe burnout has led me to focus on helping humanitarian workers in the field prevent or recover from exhaustion, loss of focus and fatigue. After witnessing Ayurveda's compelling efficacy in treating my own disorders, I was convinced that others could benefit.
I place a great deal of emphasis on assessment during interactions with my clients, paying attention to ask the right questions and get to the roots of the client’s health issues. I also make sure to provide a clear analysis, and to keep recommendations simple and practical.
Aside from this, my approach is familiar, simple and direct. Most importantly, I am genuinely eager to listen to my clients’ personal stories and struggles, to partner up with them and find long-lasting solutions, and to celebrate their successes. I will be down in the trenches with you!
