The purpose of the free 15-minute call is to:

    • Quickly explore your current health status, including your challenges and current strategies
    • Provide a brief overview of my approach
    • Offer a general overview of the recommended steps and processes involved in achieving your wellness objectives.

What to expect from a consultation

For your first consultation, your practitioner will spend about 30 minutes reading your intake form and preparing for your appointment, which will last one hour, and roughly follow this outline:

  • Thorough intake and investigation of your imbalances
  • Insightful discussion of your medical history, diet, lifestyle
  • Individualised recommendations to restore balance
  • Scheduling follow-ups where needed

After the meeting, your practitioner will email you recommendations and a report of findings, including:

  • An Ayurvedic assessment of your imbalances and how to monitor them
  • Identification of dietary and lifestyle causes and how to overcome them
  • A customized plan to support your body and restore balance

From preparation to deliverables, your practitioner’s total time investment in your first appointment is generally 3 hours.

For follow-up consultations, your practitioner will spend about 15 minutes reviewing a shorter, follow-up intake form and preparing for your appointment. During your time together, you will be discussing progress and challenges, and address any doubts you might have. You will receive new, customised recommendations to make further progress in restoring balance.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on the client. For relatively simple cases, clients will meet with us over 6 sessions. For long term, serious imbalances, achieving balance may require up to 15 sessions.

Why do I need 6 sessions?

The Ayurvedic approach is one of “slow and steady wins the race.” There is no “quick fix.” This doesn’t mean you won’t see significant improvements early on, just that it is a gradual process to ensure that your body fully heals itself. “Quick-fixes” are just treating symptoms, not addressing the root cause, in which case the symptoms may disappear only temporarily and reappear later on. Why not end the cycle for good instead?
