Ayurvedic Care for Everyone, Ariège | Shiroabhyanga & Padabhyanga
At ReViva, we are committed to making Ayurveda accessible while respecting its integrity and depth. With this in mind, we offer introductory Ayurvedic treatments, open to everyone, without requiring a prior consultation.
These techniques provide deep relaxation by focusing on key areas — the head (Shiroabhyanga) and the feet (Padabhyanga) — without involving the whole body. This makes them accessible to all, including people for whom full-body massages are not recommended or possible.
Before each session, a conversation with your practitioner helps identify your needs of the moment: fatigue, restlessness, tension, or simply the desire for relaxation. This allows us to adapt the treatment to your current state, within the limits of a universal protocol.

An open and safe approach
These simple yet powerful Ayurvedic massages are universally beneficial and easily personalised. They are ideal for:
Discovering Ayurveda
Supporting daily well-being
Enjoying a moment of targeted relaxation (stress, fatigue, mental overload)
How does a Shiroabhyanga or Padabhyanga session unfold at ReViva?
✧ Shiroabhyanga – Ayurvedic Head and Face Massage
Duration: 30 minutes + discussion time
Shiroabhyanga focuses on the head, scalp, face, and neck.
The massage begins at the scalp with the application of warm Ayurvedic oil, selected according to the season or your needs. Using circular, slow, or stimulating movements, the practitioner releases accumulated tensions, integrating marma points (vital energy points) that promote mental clarity, emotional release, and improved circulation.
Benefits include:
Deep relaxation and mental clarity
Sense of lightness
Stress reduction
Improved sleep
Feeling of grounding and recentring
✧ Padabhyanga – Ayurvedic Foot Massage
Duration: 30 minutes + discussion time
Padabhyanga focuses on the feet, ankles, and calves. According to Ayurveda, the soles of the feet contain many specific energy points (marma) connected to the organs and senses. By massaging the feet, the entire body is stimulated.
A warm herbal oil, chosen according to the season or your needs, is applied.
Padabhyanga is especially useful:
In cases of mental overload
To support sleep
To encourage grounding and emotional stability
When Shiroabhyanga is not recommended (nasal congestion, facial acne, etc.), or when you don’t wish to oil your hair
Why don’t we offer full-body Ayurvedic massages without prior consultation?
At ReViva, accessibility never comes at the expense of depth. We believe it is possible to offer beneficial treatments to all while respecting the foundations of Ayurveda.
We reserve our deeper treatments (such as full-body massages, sweating therapies, etc.) for people who have already had an Ayurvedic consultation, or upon the recommendation of a healthcare practitioner.
This approach allows us to:
Guarantee the safety and quality of treatments
Honour the individualised nature of Ayurveda, by offering treatments aligned with each person’s constitution (Prakriti) and imbalances (Vikriti)
Remain rooted in Ayurveda’s therapeutic approach
