Ayurvedic consultations | What can you expect | Online or in Saint-Girons, Ariège
What can you expect from a first ayurvedic consultation?
Before your first appointment, online or at the cabinet in Ariège, you will receive a form to fill out. This allows us to lay the groundwork beforehand, in order to fully dedicate the consultation time to exploring your imbalances. Your practitioner will take about 30 minutes to analyse your responses and prepare your session. The first meeting lasts about 1h15, and generally follows these steps:
- In-depth interview to identify your imbalances
- Analysis of your medical history, diet and lifestyle
- Personalised priority recommendations to restore balance
- Planning of a first follow-up appointment, if necessary (often one or two weeks after the first)
After the session, you will receive a detailed report including:
- An assessment of your imbalances and indicators to monitor
- Identification of the causes behind the imbalances
- A personalised plan to support your body

What would a follow-up ayurvedic consultation consist of?
A follow-up consultation allows adjusting recommendations and measuring your progress.
Before each follow-up consultation, you will fill out a form updating your health status. Your practitioner will take about 15 minutes to examine it and see the evolution of your health condition.
The session lasts 45 minutes, during which you will review your progress and difficulties, the recommendations that work and work less, and other changes in your life. You can also ask all your questions. Following this appointment, you will receive new personalized recommendations to continue moving towards better balance.
Time invested by your practitioner for this consultation: between 1 and 2 hours (preparation, analysis and feedback).
️Important
Follow-up consultations are reserved for people who have had a first consultation with us. People who have been referred by another practitioner (Ayurveda, traditional Chinese medicine, Unani Tibb, traditional Greek medicine) are also welcome, provided they can share their complete file allowing us to assess their constitution and imbalances.
How many follow-up consultations are necessary?
This varies:
- Simple cases: about 5 sessions
- Chronic or deep imbalances: up to 10 or 15 sessions
Why plan several consultations?
The Ayurvedic approach is based on the principle: “slowly but steadily.” It is not an instant miracle cure, but a sustainable process. Improvements can be felt from the first sessions, but real and lasting transformation requires time. Quick solutions often only address symptoms. The goal here is to get to the root of the imbalance to end cycles of relapse.
